FUNDRAISING

Why Fundraise?

Fundraising has truly become survival for many schools that simply do not have enough surplus in their budgets to provide everything that their students need.  Thus fundraising becomes far less about money and much more about people; our students, our children, our community.  Ensuring that our students are provided the funding to get the education and experiences they so deserve has lasting effects that can benefit the community for years to come.

Fundraising can be a fun and an exciting experience and it should be shared.  As Helen Keller said, "Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much!"

Where to find them: Box Tops can be found on many General Mills, Betty Crocker, Juicy Juice, Pillsbury, Green Giant, Old el Paso, Ziploc, Kleenex, Hefty, Saran, Viva, Huggies, Scott, Cottonelle, and Kotex products. Look on all sides and surfaces of the packages.  Sometimes they’re hiding!

What to do with them: Check the expiration date. Clip them off the box and collect them in a Ziploc bag loosely.  Send them to school with your child.

There is a blue, labeled collection box located just inside the main office.  Be sure to label the bag or envelope with your child’s name, grade, and teacher. That important information is used for rewards and the classroom contest!

Look at what we can earn!!

Each time you visit our local DeCicco Market in Brewster, please consider leaving your receipt in our school's PTO collection bin located just before the exit.  When you do, you give back to our school in a big way.  DeCicco's donates a portion of your subtotal back to our PTO.  We use these funds to put on all of the wonderful events you see on our Calendar of Events for the year.  We also use these funds to fulfill teacher & classroom wishlists for things like classroom supplies and playground equipment!  What a wonderful & easy way to give back!

Each school year the PTO hosts 2 book fairs for our students.  This event requires a lot of volunteers and is a great experience for the students and adults alike.

The Fall book fair will be held from October 15th thru October 17th, 2019.  The Spring book fair will be held from April 28th thru April 30th, 2020.
